פַּלְמַנְטָרm. (frumentarius) military purveyor, commissary, imperial agent (v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Frumentarius). Ylamd. to Deut. 3:23 sq., quot. in Ar. משה היה פַּלְמַנְטָרוֹוכ׳ Moses was the Lords special agent (v. Num. 12:7). Yalk. Lam. 1001 פלמנסר של מלך (corr. acc.)Pl. פַּלְמַנְטָרִין.
