    צָרָהII f. (b. h.; צַר) 1) fem. of צַר. 2) anguish, trouble, distress, persecution. Ber.9b דיה לצ׳ בשעתה time enough for the trouble when it comes (‘sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof). Ib. 63a (ref. to Prov. 24:10) כל המרפה … ביום צ׳ he who neglects the words of the Law, has no strength on the day of trouble.
