Prov. 11:25; a. fr.Koh. to 9:10 thou didst emigrate למילף for the sake of studying, והוא גלי לאַלָּפָא but he emigrated for the sake of teaching. Y.Dem.I, 22a top ולא כן אַלְּפָן רבי (not איל׳) did you not teach us thus?א׳ זכו, v. infra. Af. אֹולֵף as Pa. Lev. R. s. 30 (מַלֵּיף) מֹולִיף עלי זכו offers arguments in my favor.
