    קִנְטֵר, קִנְתֵּר(cmp. קָנַט) ( to sting, to chide. Pes.66a התחיל מְקַנְטְרָן בדברים he began to chide them with words; Y. ib. VI, 33a מקנתרן. Gen. R. s. 98. Cant.
