פְּרַסI ch. sam( Pi. פֵּירֵס, פֵּירֵש to spread), 1) to split, divide, break; esp. to break bread and say grace. Targ. 2 Kings 4:39 (h. text פלח). Targ. 1 Sam. 9:13 פריס על מזונא ed. Lag.
