מכחיל

בָּחַלII (= בהל, v. Prov. 20:21, cmp. preced.) to hasten. Pi. בִּיחֵל to come early. Mekh. Bo, Pisḥa, 2 בי׳ אביב ובא ed. Livorno (oth. ed. כי חל corr. acc.) when the ripening of grains came very early. Hif. חִבְתִיל to advance growth.
