שֶׁלַחIII m., pl. שְׁלָחִין (tradit. pronunc. שַׁלְחִין) ( שלח; cmp. Job 5:10, a. Neh. 3:15) arms, ditches for irrigation; (שדה) בית הש׳ a field which needs irrigation, opp. בית הבעל (v. בַּעַל). M.
