גווזא

גַּוָּוזָאI m. ( גוז) = h. גֶּזַע, 1) trunk, stem. Ber. 40ab איתיה לג׳וכ׳ (Ms. F. גִּזְעָא, Ar. גִּזָּא) there remains a stem which produces fruits again. Ab. Zar.35b קטפא דגַוָּזָא ed.
