(He also compares κιγκλίς `lattice (door)' and Skt. káñcate `bind' (gramm.), kañcuka- `Panzer, Wams, Mieder', Lith. kinkýti `schirren, anspannen', with Lat. cingō `girdle' etc.; W.-Hofmann s. cingō, Pok. 565; on kañcuka- s.
