Частью сообщества считаются Центральное разведывательное управление (ЦРУ) [ Central Intelligence Agency]; Национальное агентство безопасности [ National Security Agency]; разведки родов войск США - армейская разведка [ Army Intelligence and Security Command], военно-воздушная разведка [Air Force Intelligence Command], военно-морская разведка [Office of Naval Intelligence]; Управление разведки и исследований Государственного департамента США [ Bureau of Intelligence and Research]; Разведывательное управление Министерства обороны (РУМО) [ Defense Intelligence Agency]; Бюро разведки и национальной безопасности [Office of Intelligence and National Security] Министерства энергетики США [ Department of Energy, U.S.]; Федеральное бюро расследований (ФБР) [ Federal Bureau of Investigation]; подразделения Министерства финансов США [ Department of the Treasury, U.S.] и Администрация по контролю за распространением наркотиков [ Drug Enforcement Administration]. Основные направления их деятельности определяются президентом страны и Советом национальной безопасности [ National Security Council].
