Государственная пенсионная программа “в зависимости от доходов”
Британская государственная пенсионная программа, введенная в 1978 г., в соответствии с которой каждый работающий получает дополнительную пенсию помимо государственной пенсии, начисляемой по единообразной ставке. Эта дополнительная пенсия выплачивается за счет части платежей в систему национального страхования, которые производили лица наемного труда и работодатели. Выплата пенсии начинается по достижении официального пенсионного возраста (65 лет для мужчин и 60 лет для женщин), а сумма пенсии рассчитывается по формуле, в основе которой лежит процент от доходов лица. Лица, не желающие получать пенсию по программе “в зависимости от дохода”, имеют право подписаться на пенсионную программу по месту работы (occupational pension scheme) или на личную пенсионную программу (personal pension scheme).
