S. a. l. note) and he may at once commence drinking (Maim.; v. infra). 2) to make חוּלִּין; to break a vow; to profane. Ber. l. c. (ref. to Num. 30:3) הוא אינו מֵיחֵל אבל אחרים מְחַלִּין לו he himself cannot break a vow, but others may break it for him (absolve him; Ḥag.10a … מיחל … מוֹחֲלִין; Ex.
