(1888-1955) Карнеги, ДейлПисатель и преподаватель красноречия. Заинтересовался ораторским искусством еще в школьные годы, с 1911 стал преподавателем этой дисциплины. Вскоре организовал собственную школу. Одновременно путешествовал по США с популярными лекциями и публиковал эссе на разные темы. Первая книга "Ораторское искусство и оказание влияния на деловых партнеров" ["Public Speaking and Influencing Men in Business"] (1926, переработка 1931) обобщила его богатый опыт. В 1934 издал книгу "Малоизвестные факты из жизни известных людей" ["Little Known Facts about Well Known People"] и некоторое время вел регулярную радиопередачу на эту тему. В 1936 году вышла самая знаменитая его книга (еще при жизни автора было продано более 5 млн. экземпляров) "Как завоевывать друзей и оказывать влияние на людей" ["How to Win Friends and Influence People"] - оптимистическое собрание практических советов и жизненных историй под общим лозунгом "Верь, что ты добьешься успеха - и ты его добьешься". В 1948 опубликовал "Как перестать беспокоиться и начать жить" ["How to Stop Worrying and Start Living"], также бестселлер.
