παν-ηγυρίζω, eine πανήγυρις bilden, in derselben sein, sowohl ein Volksfest feiern, wie Her. 2, 59, πανηγύρις πανηγυρίζειν, u. zwar εἰς πόλιν, sich zu dem Feste in die Stadt begeben, als auch eine Rede in einer festlichen Volksversammlung halten, vorzugsweise eine feierliche Lobrede halten, vgl. Poll. 4, 31; so Isocr. 5, 13 u. Sp., wie Plut. öfter. – In allgemeiner Bdtg, sich vergnügen, scheint es Ael. V.
