= фосфопротеиды[греч. phos — свет, phoros — несущий, protos — первый и лат. - in(e) — суффикс, обозначающий "подобный"]сложные глобулярные белки, содержащие фосфатные группы, присоединенные чаще всего к серину или треонину полипептидной цепи. К Ф. относятся казеиноген молока, вителлинин, фосвитин и овальбумин куриного яйца, ихтулин, содержащийся в икре рыб, и др.; большое количество Ф. присутствует в клетках ЦНС. Ф. широко участвуют в регуляции активности генов, транспорте ионов в клетке, окислительных процессах в митохондриях и др. напр., к Ф. относятся такие белки, как супрессоры опухолей р53, RB1 и др.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
