one+other+person

  • 21 other

He has two daughters, one is six, the other is only two — У него две дочери — одной шесть лет, другой только два.

I see only two of my books, where are the others? —

Let others talk, we must act —

II a 1.

the other plan (boy) — другой план (мальчик).

Show me another hat of a different colour —

I took only two books and gave the other books to my friends —

some other day — в какой-нибудь другой день (не сегодня).

She is quite a different person. He came back a different man — Он вернулся другим человеком.

He has different plans —

(6). Словосочетания the other day, the other year соответствуют русским на днях, несколько лет тому назад, если событие относится к прошлому. (7). See other, n.
