• Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) ист. Бюро экономической конъюнктуры. Федеральное агентство, созданное в 1960-х гг. в числе организаций для осуществления провозглашённой президентом Линдоном Джонсоном программы «войны с бедностью». В задачи Бюро входило распределение средств для профессионального обучения и юридической помощи нуждающимся. Прекратило существование в середине 1970-х гг., а его функции были перераспределены между др. ведомствами, в основном переданы Министерству здравоохранения и социального обеспечения [Department of Health and Human Services]США.
