Referenced by Adams as a horse that is light reddish or roan-colored and has a white belly. The DRAE glosses it as light red or pinkish. Santamaría and Islas define it as a horse (generally a sorrel- or chestnut-colored horse) with mixed dark and white hair on its body and a white face, belly, and legs. Cobos indicates that it refers to a pinto horse.
