полифункциональные гликопротеиды, молекулы которых представлены одной полипептидной цепью, синтезируются в основном гепатоцитами и перед секретированием в кровоток подвергаются посттрансляционному гликозилированию. К. под действием кининогенинов (см. кининогенины) превращаются в кинины (см. кинины). В плазме крови человека присутствуют два К.: низкомолекулярный и высокомолекулярный. Оба кининогена связываются с различными клетками крови и участвуют в регуляции артериального давления, модулируют воспалительные и антитромбические реакции, создают важную регуляторную систему взаимодействия плазменных белков с клетками крови и клетками сосудистой стенки.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
