В одних научных контекстах этот термин нередко употребляется для идентификации любого систематического упорядочения представлений о явлениях в некоторой области исследования (Гейдж 1963: 102), как это иногда делается при ссылке на теорию дистанционного образования. В других научных контекстах теория представляет собой структуру обоснованных объяснений, для которых межсубъектная проверяемость составляет непременное условие. — The term 'theory' is problematic, indeed. In scholarly literature it is often used to denote different concepts.
