FLUSH, FLUSHED, FLUSHINGThe terms used to denote threads of warp or weft that pass over two or more other threads in the cloth without interweaving, but refers generally to those brought to the face of a fabric. Thus in a 5 -shaft satin weave the warp thread flushes over four picks of weft in every repeat of the weave. -
