форма иммунного ответа (см. иммунный ответ), проявляющаяся в патологически повышенной чувствительности организма к внешним воздействиям некоторых чужеродных субстанций (см. аллергены) или компонентам собственных тканей; возникает, как правило, при повторном контакте с ними. В результате взаимодействия аллергена, являющегося антигеном, и антителами (см. антитела) или сенсибилизированными клетками развивается аллергическая реакция, в которой принимают участие иммуноглобулины (см. иммуноглобулины), клетки крови, циркулирующие иммунные комплексы, биологически активные вещества.
