Набор алгоритмов, применяемый для эмуляции всего спектра цветов True Color (16,7 млн) на ЖК-матрице малой разрядности, отображающей только чуть более 265 тыс. оттенков. Он заключается в поочередном выводе близких к требуемому цветов при каждой смене кадра (временной дизеринг) либо в расположении точек с близкими цветами рядом друг с другом (пространственный дизеринг). Качественная реализация алгоритмов дизеринга позволяет монитору отображать плавные переходы цветов без искажений, что хорошо заметно на монохроматическом градиенте.
