полимер, имеющий структуру каскадно-разветвленной цепи (кроны). К настоящему времени синтезированы моно-, ди-, три- и тетрадендроны. Такие структуры обладают на своей поверхности местами, к которым могут присоединяться фрагменты ДНК и, т. обр., они могут служить носителями генов для трансгеноза. Возможность образования сверхразветвленных полимеров из полифункциональных мономеров типа ARB2, где A и B реагируют лишь друг с другом, но не с подобными себе, была впервые показана А.
