16 Carded Yarns
Yarns made of cotton that has passed through the carding machine and not combed. This yarn is used for the ordinary qualities of cotton fabrics, and thus forms the bulk of cotton yarns. It is more fibrous and spongy than combed yam which in every way is better in quality than carded (see Carding) -
