  • 1 bellaria

bellārĭa, ōrum, n., that which is used as a dessert, fruit, nuts, confectionery, sweet wine, etc.; the dessert, tragêma, Fr. dragée [from bellus, like bellissimum, Ter. Ad. 4, 2, 51 Don., and pulchralia, Fest. p. 210], Gell. 13, 11, 7; Plaut. Truc. 2, 5, 27; Suet. Ner. 27.
    Here the corrupted passage ap.
