В теплицах, где применяют А., чаще всего выращивают томат, огурец и др. овощные культуры, а также цветы и кормовые растения для получения витаминного корма. При А. уменьшается расход воды и удобрений по сравнению с грунтовой культурой; урожайность же обычно выше, а созревание овощей более раннее.
