Num. R. s. 9 את פָּרַשְׁתְּ מדרךוכ׳ thou didst depart from the way (disregard the customs) of Israels daughters. R. s. 99 כשיַקְהִיל קרחוכ׳ (some ed. בשיַקְהֵל) when Korah will gather his followers for strife, my (Jacobs) name shall not be joined with them. Yalk. Ex. 408 כדי שילמדו להַקְהִילוכ׳ … that coming generations may learn from thee to assemble congregations every Sabbath; a. e. Nif. נִקְהַל to be assembled. Gen. R. s. 98 בשעה שהן נִקְהָלִין עלוכ׳ when they will be assembled against Moses in the party of Korah Lev. R. s. 24 פרשה … בהִקָּהֵלוכ׳ this section (Lev. 19) was proclaimed in full assembly (v. ib. 2), because Koh. R. to I, 1, v. קֹהֶלֶת. Hithpa. הִתְקָהֵל same. Gen. R. s. 99 (ref. to יקהת, Gen. 49:10) מי … מִתְקָהֲלִין עליו he around whom the nations will group themselves.(Num. R. s. 12 מתקהלא, v. קָהָה.

    קִיבּוּל, קִבּ׳m. קָבַל I) 1) taking, catching. Sifré Num. 129 (ref. to Num. 19:18) אשר היו שם בשעת ק׳ טומאה ‘which had been there at the time of catching the uncleanness. 2) receiving. Zeb.V, 1 ק׳ דמןוכ׳ their blood must be received in a consecrated vessel (v. שָׁרֵת). Ib. I, 4 (13a) הזבח נפסל … בק׳וכ׳ the sacrifice becomes unfit through wrong intentions in one of four acts, in slaughtering, receiving (the blood) ; a. fr.כלי ק׳, בית ק׳ (or sub. כלי) a receptacle, opp. פָּשוּט. Bets.II, 9 משום כלי ק׳ is susceptible of uncleanness, because it is a receptacle. Tosef.Kel.B. Bath. VI, 1, v. קָּשוּט. Kel. XVII, 16. Sabb.84a; a. fr. 3) acceptance. Sifré Num. 115; Yalk. Num. 750 פרשה שיש בה ק׳ מלכות שמים a Biblical section in which is expressed the acceptance of the divine kingdom.
