ⓘ Zero tolerance L'expression désigna, dans les années 1990, l'attitude qui consistait à punir sans indulgence tous les comportements délinquants. Il s'agissait alors de lutter contre le développement de la violence. On l'emploie maintenant de façon plus large: zero tolerance for drink-driving, zero tolerance for domestic terrorism, zero tolerance crusade against Internet abuse, etc.
