Nota d'usoCome pronome impersonale, one è molto più formale di you e tende a essere considerato arcaico e affettato: One needs to make an appointment if one wishes to see the minister, bisogna fissare un appuntamento se si vuole vedere il ministro. Nell'inglese attuale, si tende quasi sempre a preferire l'uso di you: You have to make an appointment if you want to see the doctor, bisogna prendere un appuntamento per vedere il dottore; You never know who's listening, non si sa mai chi sta ascoltando. -
