Международная спортивная федерация (МСФ)
Международная неправительственная организация, осуществляющая руководство соответствующими видами спорта на мировом уровне и организациями, курирующими эти виды спорта на национальном уровне. (См. Правила 26 и 27 Олимпийской хартии) Миссия и роли МСФ в отношении Игр таковы:
• устанавливать и применять, в соответствии с духом Олимпизма/Паралимпизма, правила, касающиеся практики соответствующего вида спорта, и обеспечивать их применение;
• устанавливать критерии возможности участия в соревнованиях на Играх, в соответствии с Олимпийской хартией, и представлять их на утверждение МОК;
• принимать на себя ответственность за технический контроль и руководство своим видом спорта на Играх;
• каждая МСФ отвечает за все элементы соревнований, включая расписание, зону проведения соревнований и тренировочные объекты, при этом все снаряжение должно соответствовать ее правилам. Для решения всех этих технических вопросов ОКОИ должен обращаться в соответствующую МСФ по каждому виду спорта.

International Federation (IF)
International non-governmental organization administering its respective sports at a world level and encompassing organizations administering this sport at a national level. (See Olympic Charter Rules 26 and 27)and roles of the International Federations for an Olympic Games are to:
• establish and enforce, in accordance with the Olympic/Paralympic spirit, rules concerning the practice of their respective sports and to ensure their application;
• establish their criteria of eligibility for the competitions of the Games in conformity with the Olympic Charter, and to submit these to the IOC for approval;
• assume the responsibility for the technical control and direction of their sports at the Olympic Games;
• each IF is responsible for all elements of the competitions, including schedule, field of play and training sites, while all equipment must comply with its regulations. For all these technical arrangements, the OCOG must consult the relevant IFfor each sport.

Decoration intended for representatives of the world of education. The medal, which was created in 1997, is a tribute to people and institutions with a pedagogical and educational calling who through their teaching, research and writing of academic works, in the spirit of Pierre de Coubertin, help to promote Olympism.
