(Virtual Card) формат vCardстандартный формат файлов для электронных визитных карточек ( electronic business card); предназначается для автоматизации обмена персональной информацией, содержащейся обычно на традиционных визитках деловых людей. Содержит имя, фамилию, номера телефонов, адреса электронной почты, URL, может содержать также почтовый адрес, логотипы, фотографии и даже аудиоклипы (audio clip). Электронные визитки часто прикрепляются к сообщениям электронной почты (e-mail message), но могут также передаваться по Интернету или по системе мгновенного обмена сообщениями (instant messaging) отдельно.
