Отдача от прироста перемененных факторов/закон об изменяющихся пропорциях
Изменение объема производства в зависимости от изменения количества переменных факторов на предприятии данного размера (при неизменном технологическом уровне производства). В пределах краткосрочного периода некоторые факторы производства остаются неизменными (см. Fixed factor input). Фирма может изменить уровень производства лишь путем изменения соотношения переменных и постоянных факторов. По мере присоединения все большего количества переменного ресурса к неизменному количеству постоянного ресурса, объем производства меняется следующим образом:
Вначале отдача от присоединения переменных факторов нарастает. На графике (а) показано, что объем производства увеличивается более быстрыми темпами, чем количество затрачиваемых ресурсов: кривая совокупного физического продукта идет резко вверх. Затем наблюдается постоянная отдача, при которой рост объемов производства пропорционален увеличению единиц ресурса (предельный физический продукт равен среднему физическому продукту). Дальнейшее увеличение количества переменных факторов на единицу постоянного фактора приводит к возникновению убывающей отдачи. Как показано на графике (б), объем производства увеличивается медленнее, чем количество единиц переменного ресурса: кривая совокупного физического продукта выравнивается в горизонтальном направлении, а кривые предельного и среднего физического продукта идут вниз. Наконец, отдача становится отрицательной. Присоединение дополнительных единиц переменного фактора приводит к падению производства: кривые идут резко вниз. Новый англо-русский словарь-справочник.
