Issu du rachat de Teklogix par Psion en septembre 2000, Psion Teklogix développe des systèmes informatiques mobiles sans fil à destination des entreprises. En 2001, une deuxième branche, Psion Software, développe les logiciels de la nouvelle génération d’appareils mobiles utilisant la plateforme Symbian OS, par exemple ceux du smartphone Nokia 9210, modèle précurseur commercialisé la même année.
