(universal serial bus)Le port USB (universal serial bus) est une interface permettant de gérer et synchroniser les échanges de données entre une unité centrale et ses périphériques, par exemple un ordinateur et une imprimante, ou encore un téléviseur et un magnétoscope numérique, avec une distance maximale de cinq mètres. Le débit maximal est de 480 Mbps (mégabits par seconde) pour une distance de trois mètres, et de 110 Mbps pour une distance de dix mètres.
