= touch screenустройство ввода, позволяющее пользователю взаимодействовать с компьютером, касаясь пальцем или пером (стилусом) пиктограмм или графических кнопок на экране монитора. Чувствительность сенсорного экрана определяется установленным для него порогом давления (pressure threshold). Вычисление координат места касания происходит за счёт регистрации места пересечения пальцем сетки инфракрасных лучей, расположенной у поверхности экрана. Шаг сетки - 10-15 мм. Часто применяется в информационных киосках и банкоматах.
