Прибыль, преимущество. Brownie (точнее Brownie Guide) — младшая девочка-скаут. Чтобы поощрить стремление к развитию разнообразных полезных или желаемых способностей и привычек (аккуратность, лингвистические способности, спорт, вежливость, забота о пожилых), девочек-скаутов награждают баллами (points), определённое количество которых даёт право носить соответствующую эмблему. Такие баллы называются brownie, потому что девочки носят коричневую (brown) форму.
