Dénombrables ou non dénombrables?L’anglais, comme le français, distingue deux catégories de noms: ceux qui désignent des éléments pouvant se compter par unités, se dénombrer (les dénombrables), comme les pommes, les chaises etc., et ceux qui désignent des éléments toujours à l’état de masse, non dénombrable en éléments séparés (les non dénombrables), comme le lait ou le sable.Comment distinguer un dénombrable d’un non dénombrable? Pour convertir la consommation exprimée en litres aux 100km en mpg (miles per gallon) et vice versa il suffit de diviser 280 par le chiffre connu. -
