    lv Vienvirziena informācijas pārraides sistēma (no centra uz uztvērējiem), izmantojot televīzijas signāla pārraides kanālu. Teleteksta informāciju pārraida kadra izvēršanas atpakaļgājiena laikā, kad televīzijas attēla signāls netiek pārraidīts. Pārraidītos datus uzkrāj buferatmiņā un pēc tam izvada uz televīzijas uztvērēja vai video displeja ekrāna vai printera. Vienā televīzijas signāla kanālā var iekārtot vairākus teleteksta pārraides kanālus, katrs no kuriem izmanto savu kadra izvēršanas atpakaļgājiena laiku
