Оборудование System Management Bus шина управления системой Разработанная компаниями Intel и Duracell в 1994 году двухпроводная шина управления системой, в то время являющаяся частью спецификации ACCESS.bus. В 1996 году данная шина стала частью стандарта SBS. А в 1997 году SMBus был объединен с интерфейсом ACPI. Интерфейс базируется на шине I2C. И его основное назначение заключается в том, чтобы связывать между собой различные устройства для управления ими без использования индивидуальных сигналов.
