секционный выключатель
Применяются в сборных шинах. В распределительных устройствах (РУ) электростанций секционные выключатели при нормальной работе обычно замкнуты. Они должны автоматически отключаться только при повреждении в зоне сборных шин. Вместе с ними должны отключаться и другие выключатели поврежденной секции. Таким образом, поврежденная секция РУ будет отключена, а остальная часть останется в работе.
[ http://relay-protection.ru/content/view/46/8/1/1/]Допускается применение упрощенных УРОВ, действующих при КЗ с отказами выключателей не на всех элементах (например, только при КЗ на линиях); при напряжении 35-220 кВ, кроме того, допускается применение устройств, действующих лишь на отключение шиносоединительного ( секционного) выключателя.
При дальнем резервировании защита должна действовать, как правило, с двумя выдержками времени: с первой - на деление схемы на стороне высшего напряжения блока (например, на отключение шиносоединительного и секционного выключателей), со второй - на отключение блока от сети.

Распределительное устройство 10(6) кВ должно выполняться, как правило, с одной секционированной системой сборных шин с устройством АВР на секционном выключателе.
На секционных выключателях РП 10(6) кВ должна устанавливаться максимальная токовая защита с ускорением действия защиты при АВР. При необходимости сокращения выдержек времени в сети допускается предусматривать на секционном выключателе защиту, вводимую на время действия АВР.
