1) сущ. свивтов – тонкий трос, соединяющий наружные концы вымбовок, вставленных в гнезда шпиля. Применяется с той целью, чтобы вымбовки не выскакивали из своих мест в случае, если шпиль начнет вращаться в обратную сторону. Свистов служит также и для того, чтобы можно было больше поставить людей на шпиль, так как последний можно вращать за свистов с тем же успехом, как и за вымбовки. 2) сущ. шхер-ванты -
