substitution of halogenated compounds
Halogenated compounds, because of their toxical and persistent character, should be substituted by environmental friendly compounds, like water-based fat solvents in metal processing industry or water-based coating agents. (Source: RRDA)

impedance to earth
impedance at a given frequency between a specified point in a system or in an installation or in equipment and reference earth
[IEV number 195-01-17]
impedance to earth
impedance to ground (US)
impedance at a given frequency between a specified point in a system or in an installation or in equipment and reference earth
NOTE 1 – Reference earth is defined in IEC 60050-195. In practice, a reference point can be substituted to earth, for example the chassis.
NOTE 2 – The common mode rejection ratio of an instrument is dependent on the impedances between the input terminals and earth. Each of these impedances is called a common mode impedance.

partially halogenated chlorofluorohydrocarbon
Hydrocarbons whose hydrogen atoms have been partially substituted with chlorine and fluorine. They are used in refrigeration, air conditioning, packaging, insulation, or as solvents and aerosol propellants. Because they are not destroyed in the lower atmosphere they drift into the upper atmosphere where their chlorine components destroy ozone. (Source: LANDY)
