Долг, имеющий более низкий приоритет по сравнению со старшим долгом (senior debt). 4 SUBORDINATED DEBT
(субординированный долг) Долг, который в случае ликвидации необеспеченный кредитор может взыскивать только после того, как будут удовлетворены претензии обеспеченных кредиторов. В случае с субординированными необеспеченными облигациями (subordinated unsecured loan stocks) долговые обязательства выпускаются такими институтами, как банки, а права владельцев облигаций субординированы в зависимости от участия (размера депозитов) вкладчиков. Обязательства, представленные высокодоходными, но ненадежными/“бросовыми” облигациями (junk bonds), вне зависимости от того, являются ли они обеспеченньми, всегда субординированы по величине задолженностей банкам. -
