■ Person who acts as a liaison between the TV director or producer and the TV people actually covering the event.■ Person in charge of organising the broadcast programme's production plan and the link between production team, editors and external officials.► The floor manager consults with the media officers of the event itself or of the teams. He communicates information about who is to be interviewed, he could also be the one responsible for gathering information during the match, among others about substitutions and injuries, or confirming yellow cards, and passing it on to the editorial room, but he has no direct contact with either team, nor with officials or referees, as he has to use the appropriate media officer as an intermediary.■ Mitarbeiter eines TV-Senders, der als Bindeglied zwischen Produzent bzw. Regie sowie den für Kurzinterviews in der Flashzone oder im TV-Studio im Einsatz stehenden Fernsehkollegen fungiert.■ Verantwortliche Person für den gesamten organisatorischen Ablauf einer TV- oder Radio-Produktion und gleichzeitig die Verbindungsperson zwischen Produktion, Redaktion und externen Verantwortlichen.► Der Floor-Manager ist der Ansprechpartner für den oder die Medienchefs der Veranstaltung oder der beiden Mannschaften. Er kommuniziert jeweils, mit wem ein Interview gewünscht wird; ihm kann die Aufgabe zukommen, aktuelle Informationen wie eine bevorstehende Auswechslung, die Bestätigung einer Gelben Karte oder die Verletzung eines Spielers an die Regie weiterzuleiten; er kontaktiert allerdings die Teams unter keinen Umständen direkt, sondern er wendet sich an den verantwortlichen Medienchef. -
