Поток. On stream — « на поток». Это выражение вошло в употребление в период открытия нефтяных месторождений на дне Северного моря. Сначала, когда нефть доставлялась на берег, говорили, что она пошла on stream, т. е. достигла стадии очистки и поставки на рынок.
