Специальная программа или функция для поиска опечаток и проверки орфографии в тексте. Проверка осуществляется путем сравнения каждого слова в тексте со словами, имеющимися во внутреннем словаре программы. Если корректор не находит такого слова, он сообщает пользователю о возможной ошибке. Как правило, также высвечиваются один или несколько вариантов правильного написания слова.
