61 side stop

hockey stop
side stop
Right side hockey stop begins with a forward two-foot glide, knees bent. Then, an athlete lifts the knees slightly, reverses the arms (to the left) and the hips and feet (to the right) pushing the LFI and RFO edges into ice to 'shave the ice' resulting in a stop. Left side hockey stop is done in reverse directions.
