Ib. קדמי ופלטי are the first to give out (their serum); פְּלִיטֵי עופותוכ׳ … after the fish cease to discharge, the fowl (lying in salt with them) discharge, and they (the fish) absorb; a. fr. 2) to escape. Targ. Prov. 12:13; a. e.Yeb.114b הוא פליט is it likely that he will escape? Keth.112a פַּלְטִי לי מחדא I have escaped one (evil destiny).
