Focus (множ. число foci [ʹfousaɪ] и focuses) употребляется в качестве термина в физике, математике, фонетике, медицине и фотографии: to bring the object into focus; the image is out of focus; focus of disease; the primary and secondary foci in the pronunciation of the phoneme [1].
